The Only Woman in the Room: Why Science Is Still a Boys' Club by Eileen Pollack

4.0

As other reviews here have noted, the first half or so of the book is a memoir of Pollack's time as a physics major at Yale. Through that part of the book, I was a less enthusiastic. Once the narrative moved away from the biography and once she began to interview others, I thought that the book hit its stride and found what it wanted to say.

The second part undoubtedly builds on the first, and is a pretty good investigation of the topic promised in the title.
