A beautiful sequel and end to the duology. I wish it could continue but I understand why it’s ended! The story was wrapped up beautifully and it was interesting to follow Ione and Elm (and Ravyn) more through this book rather than Elspeth.  I love seeing couples together, so I wish there could’ve been more Elspeth and Ravyn, but I loved seeing the other characters’ relationships be flushed out more, so I guess it’s a win win overall!

As I said after book 1, I love the magic system in this duology. It is unique and it is really well thought out. 

I loved both of these books and will definitely be doing a re-read at some point in the hopefully not-too-distant future!
