I feel like I was just lore edged for eight books only to be given a long awaited loregasm. I loved looking for little hits and things to places, things, or people I may have known from the previous books. Trying to guess which Mavka she was pregnant with at the time was fun. Lindiwe's beginning was so sad and it made me think so much of Delora being thrown into the vail. Nathair's death from Lindiwe and Weldirs perspective was heart wrenching.
