ok so these aren’t particularly related but i was reading this at the same time as Julia Fox’s biography and the fact that people talk about this book, a story about two girls exploring their feelings about each other and the world and their bodies, being “weird and gross”, and Down the Drain, a jorney of a young girl getting involved in drug abuse and sex working envolving a bunch of disgusting old men, being a “fascinating story” says a lot.

anyways, i love these girls. i love being a weird girl. this made me think that we don’t talk enough about how queer we can be as children before society shoves heteronormativity down our throats and we’re taught to center men into our life fantasies. i loved this.
