I enjoyed the suspense throughout the book and how it kept me guessing. Much like her other books, you think it's going in one direction and then there's a twist near the end that makes you quickly scan everything in your head and correct all your previous assumptions. The ending however was disappointing. It felt too forced for the characters to talk through and explain everything to wrap things up in a bow. Nobody talks like that unless you're a villain in a kid's animated movie. I wish it was instead told as a flashback from a different perspective so the reader can get all their questions answered.
