The Great Passage by Shion Miura

3.0

Pretty unique: I had a hard time connecting with the central passion around compiling a dictionary and precisely defining a multitude of words. It doesn't light my fire like it obviously does for the characters in the story. The translation I read was very impressive in being able to convey what must've been a very difficult book to translate, so that part was good. The story was touching, but also baffling in places, and I found it hard to get into. Not terrible, but not my favorite either.
