Death and the King's Horseman by Wole Soyinka

Does it count if I read this while watching the Stratford Festival's production of the play? (watched it online on Stratfest@Home). There were many poignant statements in the play, and some Yoruba words I did not understand (even with the footnotes in the text). It was nice to get a peek into colonial Nigeria, and traditional Yoruba customs in the play. Stratford Festival's production captured it beautifully.
