My Friend Dahmer by Derf Backderf
4.0

Sometimes comics lack a good storyline, trusting the art would be enough for the reader to enjoy. What I appreciate in My Friend Dahmer is that Backderf really worked on creating a compelling story for the book, extensively researching the available public material about Dahmer. He also interviewed a lot of people from his hometown, and evaluated the accounts from those people before putting it in the book.
Overall it was very sad to see the progress on how the ignored and extremely lonely kid turns into one of the most notorious serial killers in the US. Also, if you don't know who Jeffrey Dahmer is, I recommend going over his Wikipedia page before picking this up to give the book a bit of a back story.
