Auntie Poldi and the Sicilian Lions by Mario Giordano

4.0

Auntie Poldi has decided to retire to Sicily to drink her life away. If she’s going to go, might as well be in a beautiful place. But when her handyman is found dead on the beach, Poldi springs into action to find her proverbial joie de vivre. I loved this cozy mystery so much. Poldi is an INCREDIBLE character. So dynamic, sexy, complicated. Every chapter kept me wanting more and more. The translation is pretty smooth, though I do think some background on Sicily would help with this book. A lot of it is based on location. I’m already ordering the next book in the series!
