After reading “The Great Christmas Knit off “ on Christmas Eve,  I realised there are 4 books in the series.  This was a short book set again in the run up to christmas in a rural village.  It involved some of the characters I’d met in the earlier book, so was a lovely read when I got a few minutes on Christmas Day.  This time, it was about rehoming a retired army dog and the community coming together to set up an animal shelter.  Even if you are not an animal fan, it’s a comforting, Christmassy read.
