Very quick read and I was definitely invested throughout, but it did get a little slow after a while. The ending was very abrupt and I was hoping for a little more closure. The author never went back to the encounter between Billy and Krissy in 2009. I also wish there were more details from the past. I feel like a lot of it was just touched on, but could have been developed further. I'm also getting tired of the journalist trope of them snooping around illegally and solving crimes, even though I did enjoy the main character. It's not very realistic in my opinion.
