i recently got into rwby through my boyfriend. this collection is a cute companion to the series. you don't need to have watched the show to understand the stories told. although it makes some stories a tad funnier if you do. by far one of the best parts of this book is ozpin's notes at the end of each fable. it was clearly an excuse for him to be sarcastic/ironic. especially with "the girl in the tower" ;).
