A grumpy billionaire MMC is forced to work with a baker FMC who sees life through bright coloured lens due to inheritance circumstances ♥️

Pick it up if you want to read an architect CEO & baker arguing over the business; in chaos of that a relationship develops (ㆁωㆁ)

I really don't know why but the second book of the series is always so much better than the first one; in terms of characters & also story lines. The connection factor that was missing in "Between Commitment & Betrayal" was here from the start. For that reason I loved this book more than the first one ♡(ӦvӦ。)

Being Clara is so difficult in reality. She made me connect with her so much I was rooting for her success genuinely. She is being doubted & put down by everyone around her, yet the way she sees life is so inspiring. Her growth of realising her self worth was not rushed which felt so real & made me sink in with her emotions deeply (๑♡⌓♡๑)

In other words, she has such a beautiful heart & pure soul 💙

Initially, I found it hard to wrap my mind around Dominic's character. He just seemed like someone who came & argued something with Clara & went away. But OMG! He just knows how to make someone fall instantly within two pages ♥️

Dom & Clara's relationship starts with a complusion from both the ends. But you know what if felt like he was in love with her for so long (like from the start of the book) & the journey of this book was to show how clara was falling for him. His feelings for her were so strong & his gestures for her literally made me scream & blush through the pages.

I just fell for him multiple times especially when he outright went & called her "My Future Wife". I was done for him there; at that point (✯ᴗ✯)

Story wise, it was a good one! But obviously their relationship & personal growth dominated the book (♡ω♡ ) ~♪

Her books don't make me yearn to read them; but some of the things she does with her stories or the characters or the issues she tries to address makes me read them & eventually pushes it from okay to a good read in my radar. Still thinking about picking up the next one 🤞
