I love popculture references, but in this book they are so numerous that it's annoying. It looks like the authors took inspiration from teen dramas from the zeros. It contains quit a bit of cliches. That didn't stop me from empathizing with the story and its characters. Though it might be a while before I read another book written by at least one of  these authors.
