I enjoyed this book very much though I do think the pacing is choppy thought this book. Much of the book follows the characters before the big event that takes place which feels like a little bit of a letdown because the "big" event is such a short part of the book. I do understand that this book is only the first in the series and was a setup for the second one, however, more action could have taken place. I was very connected to the relationship of the main characters, sending me back to my Wattpad phase. I found myself fairly attached to both of them.
