The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli
1.0

I bought this book years ago after reading Simon vs. The Homosapien's Agenda and only just got round to reading it.

I unfortunately did not enjoy it. It felt like an idea rather than a fully fleshed out story. Every single story line was qliche and incredibly forced, with everything wrapping up with a nice little bow and the main character learning every lesson all on the one night.

This just felt so underdeveloped, and the forced connection to Simon was so unnecessary and weirdly sprinkled at random times in the book.
