Abby and Gretchen have been best friends since they were in 5th grade. They spend all of their time together doing what best gal pals do in the 1980s. Once they start high school though, things between them shift. Gretchen starts acting strange and after a series of events Abby is convinced she knows what’s wrong…Gretchen is possessed by a demon. Abby will stop at nothing to save her best friend.
I loved this book! I feel like Grady Hendrix’s work is definitely campy but it’s so fun. I enjoyed the 80s scene so much. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves GH or wants to give his writing a go!
