Impossible Match: a sapphic arranged marriage romance by Rochelle Wolf
lighthearted
fast-paced
3.5
⭐ 3,5 Stars
This book wasn't quite what I expected.
I was very excited to start it. The blurb sounded intriguing, and I'm always up for a billionaire romance mixed with a marriage of convenience.
Unfortunately, it didn't quite work for me. While I think the writing is solid and the potential is there, the story lacked depth.
Cecilia and Ingrid have an interesting dynamic, but their chemistry doesn't feel natural because of the novel's fast pace. There's also a frustrating lack of communication between them that could have been resolved with simple conversations.
This story might have worked better as a longer book. With more space to develop the characters outside the main plot and show more of their married life, it could have been a solid five-star read.
Overall, this could be a good choice if you like short, fast-paced romance with a fake marriage. While it wasn't perfect for me, you might enjoy it yourself.
Thank you to Rochelle Wolf for sending me an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review!
