I loved this book and ate it up!! The personal journey that Diem went on was so realistic and understandable. She is trying to balance many relationships and expectations as her personal world is in upheaval, with inklings of the world at large changing soon. She is courageous and determined, but doesn’t know when to leave things alone. I can totally see Luther’s interest in her. She is definitely flawed and yet inherently good. I couldn’t out this book down. I have so many questions for the rest of the series. And that ending was such a cliffhanger!
