It took me two tries, two methods and three years to finish this. While I was happy to be back in the Outlander world, I felt there were too many subplots, and a few characters that were unnecessary (and references to characters and subplots from earlier books that I didn't recall).
I know I will read the next one but this one took a lot of effort.
BTW, I did enjoy the audio version that I got from the library, even though at 39 CD 's it had to be supplemented with reading the book to speed things along.
