fragglerocker 's review for:
Crossing to Safety
by Wallace Stegner
A quiet novel about little moments, but impressive in its depiction of four people -- two couples -- and their relationships throughout their lives. It's a reflective novel -- the narrator prefers to tell you about life and living it, rather than reveal that through action, and full of insights you'd expect from someone late in their life.
