The confession aspect of this story was unique and well thought out. I liked that Owen used people’s confessions to create artwork around and how the prologue ties the initiation of Owen’s artistry. Auburn was an annoying character to me. She was extremely naive and the plot seemed a little weak surrounding her relationship with Trey. Auburn too easily follows what other people do and I understand the underlying reason she does so but I didn’t feel the real emotion present in the writing. It was a short book and maybe that’s why however I don’t wish the book was any longer. Overall though, it was a fun read and quick to get through. I was happy for the ending.
