This one didn't suck me in quite as much as the first. But I still loved it. I loved seeing the characters come into their new roles and further figuring out what is happening to them/their people.
But one of my favourite things in the first book was all of the side characters and watching them interact/act like a found family. But the side characters felt like they were barely in this book besides a scene or two.
Overall I enjoyed this book and can't wait to see how the story continues.
