OK so. Hmm. I don't know that this is a full 3 stars for me... I tried to read a Marian Keyes book a few years ago, couldn't get into it. I said I'd give her most iconic a title a go.
In some ways, it painted an accurate picture of addiction, with the vaguely insufferable titular character in complete denial about her drug habits. I think this book suffers from early-2000s-itis. The way addicts in a rehabilitation facility are described are wildly stereotypical, and there's a serious degree of body shaming, obsession with "fatness" (I shall use in inverted commas, because it was giving Bridget Jones crying about being 120 pounds).

I dont know about this one. Some of the banter was fun, and the concept was interesting. It just feels of its time, and I wasn't mad about it. I'm interested to see if the sequel was given a modern makeover...
