What if Sleeping Beauty was the monster after all and in order to keep everyone else safe she needs to 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 asleep? Thornhedge is a captivating reimagining of the classic fairytale that we all know. The changes that T. Kingfisher made to the story was brilliant. Toadling was such an endearing character. I listened to the audiobook and loved Jennifer Blom's portrayal of her. The plot was both eerily dark and whimsically sweet. Add T. Kingfisher's lyrical writing and you have an enchanting read that makes you rethink all you know about the sleeping princess.
