First, I have to thank the author for the amazing opportunity to read this ARC! I have been geeking out about this book since I saw the cover on a Facebook group weeks before the opportunity.

This is a fantasy book written in a dungeons and dragons adventure style. There are several different fantasy characters, including but not limited to, vampires, dwarves, humanoid lizards, humanoid rats, dragons and so much more.

I have absolutely love this book from the prologue. The characters are wonderfully written and full of life in personality. My two favorite are of course Cassius and rooster. These boys have my heart already.

Not only will I probably be pre-ordering this book, I cannot wait to see where the adventure continues. This book leaves us on a cliffhanger and I am on the edge of my seat wanting to know where we go.

(I love that the author is relating to modern times and situations with gender, there is gender fluid characters. which totally makes sense when you’re basically a lizard hahaha)

The world building is fantastic as well. I do feel that this book is probably going to be slower than the next books in the series, as the author is building this world and characters. I can’t say enough how excited I am to watch the journey of these characters unfold in the upcoming books
