I love everything about Ilya and Shane! Usually a sequel leaves the opportunity for a perfect story to have a bad ending, but this wasn't the case with the Long Game. There are so many areas of character growth with our two main characters, and even some updated about characters from previous books in the series.
Watching Ilya have the chance to see a therapist and unpack some of his traumas to hopefully improve his relationship with Shane was heart wrenching, especially since they spoke Russian together.
Although they continue to go through ups and downs in their relationship, a happy ending is waiting for Ilya and Shane!
