Most of the bad reviews ive seen have come from people who went into the book with preconceived notions. I had absolutely no idea what the book was about i didn't even read the blib on the back so i think that helped me appreciatethe book for what it was. Everything about this book spoke to me in a way I didn't think was possible. I'm not good at explaining what I mean but it truly captivated me. As the book goes on it makes you feel more lost but at the same time it's setting up the dominoes so that you can watch them all fall down at the end and slide into place.

Elise being the daughter was an amazing twist I didnt see coming but it all made sense.
