The Countess Conspiracy by Courtney Milan

5.0

I was a bit reluctant to read The Countess Conspiracy, not because I didn’t think it wouldn’t be good — I knew it would be, but I was worried that since it was friends-to-Lovers that it would be very angsty and I’m not a big fan of angst. I really loved the first two books though and I am very excited to read Free’s book, so I just decided to go for it. That makes it sound like I didn’t want to have much to do with The Countess Conspiracy at all, but I was actually looking forward to getting inside Sebastian and Violet’s heads and learning all about them. This wasn’t an easy read, it did make my heart ache, it made me angry and made want shout and shake some characters, but it wasn’t as angsty as I feared. Even if it had though, it would have been a worthwhile read because The Countess Conspiracy was beautiful, moving, and remarkable — I loved Sebastian and Violet and their story so much!
