Rebel Rising: A Memoir by Rebel Wilson

funny hopeful inspiring lighthearted reflective medium-paced

4.0

I'm not a fan of Rebel but I have seen a lot of the movies she's been in. I love autobiographies read by the author and had heard this book had caused some drama, so thought I'd give it a listen. She's a really great narrator which I wasn't expecting!

The book itself is interesting (I learnt a lot about her childhood and her dertemination and work ethic) and I always love some good goss but it also can be quite shallow at times with the constant name dropping (without it being relevant to the story), boasting about money and how she 'crushed it' at everything. Those things make it scream bogan. Overall it made me like her a little more.
