I could not for the life of me get past Anne's character. Reading a child in a book vs interacting IRL are two very different instance. I was skipping pages in which her dialogue would span two or three pages. I found it not worth my time unfortunately. I recognize this is a literary classic. Had a read it at a different time, perhaps then.
