The True Love Experiment
by Christina Lauren
3.5 Stars
I remember reading The Soulmate Equation last year and having so much fun with Fizzy and that's true with this book as well. I enjoyed Fizzy and Connor's story, though the last chapter felt a bit unnecessary to me. There are a lot of dirty jokes in this, which I can understand some people not enjoying but I didn't mind if I didn't think about how old the characters were supposed to be. I also liked getting glimpses of Jess and River's relationship after their book. Low-key didn't like the idea that this was an Asian woman's story written by white women, but the execution was done well enough that I wasn't offended though I did feel some disconnect with how I related to Fizzy because of that.
