Polyvagal Practices: Anchoring the Self in Safety by Deb Dana

hopeful informative fast-paced

I'm a therapist. I would recommend this book to clients who already have some familiarity with polyvagal theory. It offers a breakdown of what polyvagal theory is, and then details various exercises to encourage regulation and put theory into practice. However, some exercises need more explanation and can leave the reader with more questions than answers. Great to use alongside therapy that has a polyvagal focus, though!
