The epic underwater adventure of Prof P. Aronnax on board Captain Nemo’s fantastic submarine The Nautilus.
I definitely enjoyed this Verne classic much more than Journey to the Centre of the Earth. I found the faster pacing to be more engaging, the characters more interesting and likeable and a better balance between plot and scientific description. I think this story is still somewhat accessible thanks to the vast amount of mysteries still to be solved about the underwater realms of our world.
