I have a feeling this is one of those books I rate lower than the rest of the series until the rest of the series becomes suprisingly amazing.
I do have to say though that although I really liked the dystopian aspect and the character development, it was sort of disappointing. I mean there was so much more room for bigger events to happen and they didn't. Like the whole chapter Ness used to describe Todd's travel. Yes, I understand it's important to understand how a character got from one place to another but did I really need to know how many times Todd slipped on a hill or coughed. And I really was going to give this book 4 stars if it hadn't been for the confusion I had that came with Aaron.
SpoilerI mean why couldn't he just die, maybe that part flew over my head, I don't know.
