The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey

1.0

This book was so boring. I've had it for four years and this is the time that it took me to finish it (and I only did it because I'm on a project to read all the books that I own).
The book is very preachy and doesn't give a lot of advice that isn1t common knowledge. Also, it is just so nice to read about how to overcome your problems in a book written by someone whose biggest problem was...being nervous to play football? I'm sorry, but Sean Covey just doesn't have enough life experiences to say something truly relevant. All of his advices were repetitive and shallow and the few interesting parts were usually coming from someone else. I mean, hey, that's great that you have an amazing life where even the book that you've published was handed down to you by your dad, but 10% of the world can relate to that. Stop acting like you know the reason to all problems and have real advice. If the book was a short article on a blog it would have been better, as I wouldn't have to have read so much bs.
