Omg this book. It's so good. Talon's tale is such a heartbreaking one.  Chapter 5 completely broke me and had me full on sobbing. I keep trying to find a way out of his fate but after that cliffhanger I'm taking all of those thoughts back because WHY Penelope 😭😂

Ugghh whattt 😭😭

This is book 3 of the Death Series and picks up right where book 2 left off. Talon is finally getting close to his goal. The thing he has spent decades fighting for. Even with his revenge finally being so close he's had a change of heart, realizing the choices he made on his journey to vengeance weren't the best ones.  Calista has found a glimmer of happiness and has grown into her strength like I knew she could. Queen Eldinar has changed her judgement of the death King and seeing their friendship blossom was amazing. You can tell that Talon needed a friend like her. The dragons will always be my favorite, I love their different personalities and wisdom.

Every book I have ever read by this author has been an emotional rollercoaster and this series is no different. The twists and turns, the intrigue and action along with the plot, world building and character development are PERFECTION!! I cannot wait for the next book!
