Broken Highway by @loganriversauthor
⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 (3.75/5 stars)

Thank you to Logan Rivers and Booksprout for the free ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Noah is ready for it all to end. He’s been drifting since his abusive husband “accidentally” fell down a flight of stairs and ended up in a coma — an accident Noah might’ve helped along. Now, he’s a man on the run, leaving behind one-night stands before the sheets are even cool. In his mind, he’s too broken to be saved.

Seven has been running too — ever since he escaped the cult he grew up in. He survives by selling his body, seeking touch as a poor substitute for the love he's never experienced. When he sets his car on fire (literally), Noah is the one who picks him up off the side of the road.

Neither man expects to find true love out there on the broken highway. But against all odds, that’s exactly what happens. The question is — now that they’ve found each other, can they hold on? Or will their ghosts tear them apart?

This book completely surprised me. Yes, there are spicy scenes (and they’re very spicy 🔥 and plentiful), but what really stood out was the deep emotional core. Noah and Seven are both beautifully broken, and their pain felt real.

Seven’s cult background adds a raw, disturbing layer to his character. While I’ve never experienced anything close to that (unless Bookstagram counts as a cult 😂), the themes of control, shame, and indoctrination are scarily familiar in the real world.

If you’re looking for a gritty, emotional MM romance with soulmates, trauma recovery, and heat, this one’s for you.
