This book was rather hit-and-miss for me. Some of Sedaris's humor was spot-on for me - and the rest of it was either boring or vaguely offensive. However, I have used some of her recipes, and the book is certainly worth it for that. I especially enjoyed one vanilla cupcake recipe - light, tasty, and actually rather sugar-cookie-y.
