This book is about Leah, a woman with motion blindness who only has several people in her life to help her. Her long time housekeeper, 2 older woman who live in her apartment building. her apt. super, and the delivery man. After her mom's death, a new woman, Alice moves in next door. With Leah's heightened senses she learns that Alice is in trouble and her ex husband is abusing her as she listens to them through the walls. 
One night, Leah finds a man in her apt. and can sense him there, thinking it is the neighbors ex, the man who smells of bergamot. As the story unfolds, a twisted web is unveiled and you learn more about Leah, Alice, their relationship, and the mysterious man who entered her home that night. This story has many twists and surprises and the ending was a crazy ride.
