buddy read with adelyn ᰔᩚ i had a great time reading with you! :)

my fifth taylor jenkens reid book, and i could not put this down.

the characters are very well developed. the fact that this is a work of fiction always catches me by surprise. i refuse to believe these characters aren’t real.

camila was my favorite character. i know she wasn’t one of the main characters, but she brought so much wisdom to daisy and was so human. i love how fiercely she fought for her family, billy got real lucky.

the plot was so fast paced. i loved how it was structured! it was separated into parts and written in an interview style, making it super easy to read. i find anything with famous people interesting, so i knew i would have fun reading this. i just kept wanting to know what would happen next! not only was i interested in their careers, but i was interested in the character’s lives. it was an absolute roller coaster with daisy jones and the six and i was in for the ride.

i have talked about TJR’s writing many times before, but it’s excellent! the sheer amount of research and planning put into this is what i love. it isn’t just a story she pulled out of nowhere, this took a lot of thought and dedication. i highly appreciate authors who put the work in! i was captivated with the amount of detail. everything flowed together so nicely.

overall, i totally recommend this. i also need to watch the show ASAP!
