I think I was expecting the book to be about how the child is a psycho, like “We need to talk about Kevin” type book. It was partly about that. More about adult psychos. And court cases. It was just so much back and forth about court cases and all that. I just didn’t enjoy it that much. The ending did save it slightly. But just barely. Just felt a bit rushed and certain things were added to give that final shock factor but it just seemed so far fetched 🤦🏻‍♀️ took my a good two months to finish it. I really had to force myself to get through it 🙈
