Hands down my favorite book in the flight and glory series.
I think out of all the men’s POVs, Jackson’s was written the best. I also felt like the arguments that Morgan and Jackson got in were reasonable. Not that they haven’t been in the past books, but sometimes it just felt childish. Not a big fan of the miscommunication trope. Also loved Garrett and Sawyer….did I picture them as Garrett and Sawyer from FW the whole time even though this was written first? Yes. And it just made them even better. 😂
The ending of this book had me on the edge of my seat. But most importantly FUCK CLAIRE!
Rebecca Yarros is an incredible author. If you became a fan like me through Fourth Wing, I highly recommend giving this series a read. I was not a big contemporary romance reader. I was mostly all fantasy/romantasy, but I absolutely loved this series! Even if you’ve never read anything by her, this is a great place to start!
