katiestomps 's review for:
The Host
by Stephenie Meyer
I think that this is one of Stephenie Meyer's better books. She developed her characters very well for the most part of the book, and I found many of the characters fascinating. Wanderer at sometimes could be a dry character, but her alter-ego, Melanie, never failed me with her sarcasm. Her back story was a fascinating one, how she saved her little brother and all.
When Wanderer fell in love with Ian, I wanted to finish the book and stay up all night. That was one of my favorite parts in the entire book. I could not put it down at that point.
Her writing style improved greatly over her debut, Twilight.
