Dash & Lily's Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn, David Levithan

4.5/5 stars
I liked this so much more than I thought I would! The concept was original and intriguing and the book was fast-paced and hilarious. I loved how the different voices of Dash and Lily were so distinct (they were written by two different authors, after all) but the book overall was cohesive and well put together. Levithan and Cohn's different writing styles complement each other in the same way that the personalities of Dash and Lily are so different but work well together. I loved how the bookstore The Strand was heavily featured and that both of the main characters appreciate the magic of an amazing bookstore. The vast amount of word-nerdiness was also fantastic. The book takes place during the Christmas season, but I read it in March and liked it just as well. A highly enjoyable adventure! :)
