This book was so good! It's from that time when people were pressing really hard for diverse books and I think is a pretty good example of a white author putting together a book with a main character of color that made me feel like I could see myself in the world. I don't think it was perfect by any means and I wondered what an indigenous person's perspective on the story might be, but I still thought it was really fun and now I want to read the whole series.
