Worth the Wait by Karla Sorensen
5.0

“A gentle snap, a whisper-soft snick of something sliding back into place underneath my ribs. The shift of something that had been out of place since the last time I saw her.”

Readers have been waiting for Hunter Buchanan’s story and Karla Sorensen surpasses expectations with the HEA we all needed. The Buchanan curse runs strong and hits true. I adore Hunter and Iris!!! I love a pining hero who falls first (or acknowledges feelings first)! Hunter Buchanan is a charming Southern gentleman who knows when to drop the niceties to get down ‘n’ dirty! Iris is the woman he has loved for over a decade; she is back in town, but her heart may still be out of reach. I love that Hunter and Iris each had unique homecoming stories that brought them back to Green Valley. Fate may have plans for Hunter & Iris, but Mama Buchanan is happy to give them a nudge or two. I adore the small-town, big-hearted community in Green Valley; the found family that Iris and Theo get wrapped up in is simply wonderful. Theo is a brilliant kid with heaps of heart in need of a little guidance. Who better than the handsome, hometown school teacher searching for his heart and home. The instant bond that Hunter and Theo form is heartwarming; I love the relationship they build. Worth The Wait is exactly that! This low-angst, heart-melting romance will roller-coaster you through your feelings without any real derailment. It’s a touching story of lost love found again, healing hearts & minds, and the indomitable power of family. Please please please tell me Theo gets an HEA!!!
