The Nice House on the Lake Vol. 1
by James Tynion IV
Overall a bit disappointed with this one. I loved the premise - dystopian - the cast locked in this house.
It poses so many questions and could have unlimited routes.
But for me I actually can’t remember one character apart from the main alien. None of them were memorable which is a bit shocking as they all have their “own symbols” and known by their occupation.
There are pages of written dialogue which just doesn’t progress the story along with flashbacks that do the same.
I wanted to like this but not for me unfortunately which is a real shame.
