This trilogy was good, but its intended audience showed in the writing and plot. Had I read this as a teen, it most likely would have been one of my favourites.
However, I truly loved how Holly Black depicted faeries! Written like in true folklore, the uncanny and slightly eldrich-horror-like characters and creatures were something to admire in this book :)
