The Grace Year by Kim Liggett
4.0
3.5/5
This book was good. I enjoyed the feminist aspects, the solidarity, the growth, the emotional parts.
However, there were a lot of things missing for me.
I wanted more worldbuilding and background information about why The Grace Year even happens. I understand that in this world misogyny exists, but I really wanted more information about how they came to certain conclusions and how the idea of The Grace Year was created. Even if it was just a little prologue.
Also, her naming her daughter Grace was so dumb to me. On par with Harry Potter naming his kid Albus Severus....
